Data deletion

PostAtlas is a desktop application that runs on your own computer. All your videos, captions, schedules, and platform OAuth tokens live on your machine, not on any server we operate. To delete your PostAtlas data you uninstall the app, remove its local data folder, and revoke PostAtlas in each connected platform's settings. The full process is below.

1. Disconnect platforms inside PostAtlas

Open PostAtlas, go to Connections, and disconnect each platform you have linked. This removes the OAuth tokens for those platforms from your machine's secure credential store and immediately stops PostAtlas from posting to those accounts.

2. Revoke PostAtlas in each platform's settings

Removing tokens from your machine prevents PostAtlas from using them, but it does not tell the platform itself that the connection is over. As an extra step, revoke PostAtlas in each platform's connected-apps settings:

3. Remove PostAtlas from your machine

On macOS, drag the PostAtlas application to the Trash. Then delete the data folder at ~/Library/Application Support/PostAtlas/. This contains the local SQLite database (your scheduled posts, queue history, and clip metadata) and the thumbnail cache.

If any OAuth tokens remain in your macOS Keychain after Step 1, open Keychain Access, search for PostAtlas, and delete any remaining entries.

4. Delete a waitlist signup (optional)

If you joined the waitlist via the form on this site, your email and tier preference are stored in our Tally dashboard. To remove them, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, subject "Delete my waitlist signup." We will delete the entry within 30 days.

5. Delete email correspondence (optional)

If you have emailed [email protected] for support and want that correspondence deleted from our inbox, email us from the same address with the subject "Delete my email history." We will delete the thread within 30 days.

6. What we keep, briefly

We do not run telemetry inside PostAtlas, so we have nothing to delete on the application side after Steps 1 and 3. For the marketing website (postatlas.com), we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-less and aggregate. There is no per-visitor record to delete.
